Nestled on five beautiful acres of wooded and open spaces with a small creek, our private nature school offers an immersive outdoor learning experience for Pre-K through Second Grade.

We recognize that children thrive outdoors—they self-regulate better, build resilience, and develop stronger social-emotional skills. Our curriculum delivers all the educational outcomes of a traditional classroom while maximizing time spent in nature. Whether it’s math, science, literacy, or the arts, we teach it outside, allowing children to move, explore, and connect with their environment.

Olive Grove is a family-owned and operated school led by a passionate team. Our founder, Sonia, has been in early childhood education since 1999. With a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, a Master’s in Business Administration, and an Early Childhood Certificate through NWACC, she has taught students from toddlers to high school and even directed a homeschool co-op for 150 children.

With over a decade of experience as a school director, Sonia ensures that children flourish in our care.

A Vision Born From a Need

Our first school, Kindergrove, began in 2011 as a highly sought-after childcare center in Northwest Arkansas. Over time, we saw a growing problem—children transitioning from play-based programs into traditional schools were struggling. Sitting at desks for hours, staring at screens, and losing time outdoors was affecting their ability to learn and self-regulate.

Kindergrove Nature School was created to fill that gap, giving children a space to move, explore, and learn in nature—all while achieving strong educational outcomes. We foster a sense of community and build close relationships with families, ensuring open communication and a home-away-from-home feel where children feel safe and loved.
